The Washington Post has been a great source of high quality articles on health. The report of 6/12/08 on the implementation of the European Union's ban on untested Chemicals and our failure to
protect our citizens was featured here for 5 months on this page until this new revelation about the FDA's apparent collusion with industry to prevent you from having the information you need to
protect your loved ones from the chemicals in infant formula. It was bad enough that the FDA refused to deal with BPA and Pthalates in Baby Bottles, infant food can liners and other sources.

It is said that it cost over a quarter million dollars to raise a child to adulthood. It costs a lot more to raise a child with a preventable disease. Becoming a parent is a big committment and a
bigger responsibility. I have never heard a new parent ask for a side of Melamine with that! One government claim I want to take issue with is the supposed "safe" levels of melamine in food. This is
total garbage! Check out Ken Cook's video on the front page about Ten Americans about neonatal chemical pollution in newborn babies.

Update December 12, 2008: The Washington Post breaks the news that the FDA is seeking to tone down the warnings about mercury containing fish for consumption by pregnant and nursing mother and young children! I wonder of they found that Melmine, when combined with BPA in the presence Mercury is actually a nutrient? Click here for the article
